YEAR 3

Picture

Miss Brown: a.m.a

Why did you decide to be a teacher?
I decided to be a teacher because I wanted to make a difference to children's education.
Is being a teacher like you thought it would be?
Teaching is hard work, however it is the most rewarding job. In some ways it's like I thought it would be but sometimes it's a lot tougher however the children make it all worthwhile.
What lessons do you enjoy teaching most?
I enjoy teaching PE/Games as you see the children in a different environment but still learning and having fun.
If you weren't teaching, what would your dream job be?
My dream job would be  to work In African National Park/conserve caring for wild/endangered animals.
What was your favourite subject at school?
My favourite subject was PE/Games  because I loved to learn practically in the outdoors.
What were you told off for at school?
I was told off for talking when I shouldn't have been!

Starting the year with a bang!

Year 3 rally enjoyed the Science themed start to the new year - the slime-making was a firm favourite!
Our Science investigations continued by finding out just how strong magnets can be...

Cadbury world

To celebrate the end of Year 3’s Bean to Bar topic, we visited Cadbury World. The children enjoyed a fun day out, exploring the Bean to Bar process, finding out about John Cadbury and enjoying a 4d experience. It was a lovely day, topped off by enjoying some Cadbury treats!

chocolate Cafe

To complete their theme this term, Year 3 held a Chocolate Cafe for their families. The children put such a lot of hard work into making this such a lovely event. They made chocolate lollipops, lollipop stands and then became super waiters and waitresses. I am so proud of all their hard work and achievements. Well done Year 3!!
