School Houses
The children are organised in to four houses named Birch, Lime, Oak and Willow. We chose these names to celebrate the fantastic collection of trees we have in our school grounds.
Each child is awarded house points for a wide range of good behaviours, positive actions and good deeds. House points are collected together and each week the children find out which house is doing best. This helps the children understand the importance of being a member of a team and working for the team. After gaining a certain number of points a house may be given rewards such as a longer playtime or a non-uniform day.
Every Friday we hold a celebration assembly to recognise achievement during that week. Parents are invited to join us at that assembly.
