The school are pleased to announce we have achieved a 5 star rating in our latest food and hygiene inspection.

At George Grenville we pride ourselves on providing healthily cooked hot lunches. All our meals are freshly prepared by kitchen staff at Bourton Meadow Academy using local produce. All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for a free hot school meal each day. These must normally be ordered from the menus available in the ‘forms’ section of our Parentmail system by 12pm the Wednesday before meals are required. If your child is in Years 3,4,5 or 6 and you order dinners, you will be charged £2.35 for each meal.  If you do not order your meals we assume that your child will be bringing a packed lunch into school and we will not prepare a meal for them.

Universal Infant Free School Meals
From September 2014 the Government's Universal Free school meal initiative will begin.  This means that all children in Reception, Year 1 and 2 will be eligible for a free hot school meal each day.  If you would like your child to have school meals please complete the yellow lunch menu and return it to the school office by the Wednesday before you require the meal using the lunch order form. To assist Bourton Meadow Academy kitchen it is preferred that meals be ordered half termly.

Free School Meals
Does your child qualify for free school meals? If so, please complete an application form and send it in to the School Office. Even if your child does not wish to have free lunches, it is still really important that you let us know you are actually eligible.
