Equality Objectives

​By 2026, we will ensure our school ethos and culture celebrates diversity and promotes tolerance and an understanding and awareness of different families, religious beliefs, backgrounds and cultures within our school community and the wider world.
​By 2026, the gap in attainment and achievement between pupils identified as disadvantaged pupils and non-disadvantaged pupils will have closed across the curriculum
​By 2026 the attendance gap between pupils who have been identified as disadvantaged, including pupils with SEND and those who are not will have closed
As an inclusive school, we aim to meet its obligations under the public sector equality duty by having due regard to the need to:

  1. ​Eliminate discrimination and other conduct that is prohibited by the Equality Act 2010
  2. ​Advance equality of opportunity between people who share a protected characteristic and people who do not share it
  3. Foster good relations across all characteristics – between people who share a protected characteristic and people who do not share it
