Daily Timetable

Pattern of the School Day

The classroom doors open at 8.35 am and pupils have 10 minutes to arrive. Teachers will be waiting at the class door to welcome the children and speak to parents if needed, and there will be an adult in the classroom to settle the children with their morning work. Pupils are expected to attend school for 32.5 hours a week. There are optional extra curricular clubs and extended care in addition to these hours before and after school each day.

8.45am - Registration closes
8:50am - Lesson 1 (phonics or handwriting) OR assembly
9:20am -  Lesson 2 (normally maths or English)
10.20 - 10.35am - Break
10:40am - Lesson 3 (reading)
11.10am - Lesson 4 (normally maths or English)
12.10pm - 1.10pm- Lunch
1.10pm-1.15pm - ​Afternoon registration
1.15pm - Lesson 5
2.15pm -  Lesson 6
3.15pm - School finishes 

Every Friday at 2.45pm, we hold a celebration assembly to recognise achievement during that week. Parents are invited to join if their child is receiving an award but all are welcome. 

PE, Drama and Music Lessons

All children from Year 1 to Year 6 will have either music lessons each half term and there will also be drama opportunities planned in throughout the year. 

​Please see below for when you child will have PE and will need to come into school dressed in their PE uniform. Children are to come to school dressed in their PE uniforms on the days they have PE. This is to avoid having to change clothes close to each other in classes. It will also maximise the time they can spend on their physical education and mean that you are able to wash their PE kits at home. Please see below for the days your child will be doing PE and/or GAMES.
